My submission for last years The Book Illustration Competition, a partnership between House of Illustration and The Folio Society. (B.I.C. 2019)
Ink, oil-pastels and color-pencils were used as mediums while producing the illustrations. Mainly used oil-pastel sgraffito technique.
Chapter 2: The castle obediently came to a rumbling, grinding halt about fifty feet uphill from her. Sophie felt rather gratified as she hobbled toward it.
Chapter 16: But almost as soon as Michael & Sophie arrived, the clot of magic took on the shape of a misty bundle of fighting snakes.
